Feeding on Feedly #2

After all of the gross Valentines Day posts were made and finished yesterday, I decided to blog about Feedly today after all of that sappy stuff was made!

My favorite news posts today were primarily focused on Science. The first article that caught my eye today was about star clusters, and it attracted me because of its cute title “Tidal Tails”. It sounded like a pun since it was telling a “tail” (rhymes with tale, get it?) about the stars. Other than that, I especially love that when you click on articles, they just pop up and you don’t lose your spot as you scroll. This is really handy since I scroll a lot because I am so picky about what I read– I only have such limited free time when in college!

At the top of the pop-up, there’s tabs so you can click in order to interact with the article. You can interact with this article by sharing it through email, copying the link, saving it, favoriting it, and posting it to any social media– even linkedin and hootsuite!

Anyways– Tidal Tails. I clicked on the attractive title and the article popped up in another tab so I can read it from the website itself. I do this because I believe that writers should see how many views they really get, since it’s unsure if Feedly reports views to its news subscriptions it lists. That would be nice to know! It was a lovely reading; the author was very detailed yet described it knowing most of his audience wasn’t well-versed in that area of knowledge.
