Feeding on Feedly #3

Happy Monday, everyone! It’s the start of a new week, so hopefully there’s some juicy news today for the start of most American’s 9-5 job week. The best news come on Monday because, well, who likes Mondays? The weekend just ended and most people are dreading to go back to work!

I found out that everyday, the Associated Press does an everyday news cap video of popular news! Honestly, I was really excited to see this because sometimes rather than trying to find out popular news, Associated Press tells me with a video. Though, rather than scrolling to try to find this video, Feedly should have videos in another section of the days news so it’s easier to find that type of media. Feedly is rather a long list of news posts in chronological order (date the article is posted). Nevertheless, Feedly on its own has popular news articles of the day (or rather the most intriguing topics) at the top of the tab you have chosen.

Today I noticed as well that tabloid journalism was popular in regards to the theme of the news posts. For example, the images below represent today’s tabloid journalism. I’m not surprised that this type of journalism is popular within news because celebrity life and trendy topics are highly intriguing to read/ listen about. When I read about other famous icons lives, it helps a regular person like me forget about my worries, or see what it’s like to have an alternative life.

Have a lovely Monday!
